I grew up around Cambridge and then went over to the 'other side' to read History at Oxford. I enjoyed Oxford so much that I returned for a Masters and PhD. I have also studied abroad - at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. I have held two lectureships at the University of Oxford, tutoring undergraduates and international exchange students. At the same time, I really enjoy tutoring A-Level and GCSE .

I tutor History for GCSE and A Level, as well as English for GCSE and A Level and French to GCSE. I'd be delighted to assist with any UCAS applications (how do you make that personal statement stand out?!). I can give particular assistance with Oxbridge applications, including preparation for interviews and the HAT test.

I always take the time to get to know a student and how they learn. I believe there are no such things as 'silly questions' and encourage critical, independent thinking.
