My experience in tutoring is very varied, ranging from music tuition for children of ages KS1 and KS2, to English Literature students preparing for A-levels and students applying for Oxbridge and other Universities through UCAS. I am considerate and approachable, which I believe is essential for creating a welcoming environment, delivering teaching in a personable and sensitive manner which is tailored to each individual student. I ensure students feel at ease, able to engage with tutorial material and not be worried to make mistakes, whilst maintaining a professional manner in order to create the most productive environment for students.

I achieved a 2:1 in English from the University of Cambridge in 2021, and have since trained as an actor, having just completed my MA in Music Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Both degrees have introduced me to a wide range of teaching styles, which I have introduced in my tutoring: the benefits of a nurturing, positive environment, where students feel able to reach their full potential, and feel confident to strive towards their academic goals.

I tutor English and Music (written paper) for GCSE and A-level, as well as Maths to GCSE. I also cover University applications, from Oxbridge interviews to personal statements, as well as drama, and the 7+ and 11+ plus; although I never took the 7+ and 11+ tests myself, I was a keen seven-year-old who liked to get her hands on her older brother’s practice papers! Outside of English and Theatre I am a keen musician, and hold a Diploma in singing, and Grade 8 distinctions in flute and piano. I am also a keen runner, and love to explore London’s parks this way.
